I am a Ph.D. candidate in public policy at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a Graduate Student Associate of the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs.My research spans the areas of governance, development, technology and politics in Sub-Saharan Africa. My dissertation -- "Digital Development: Governance, Regulation and Technology in East Africa" -- investigates the development of information and communications technology policy in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda from 1990 to the present. My research is multi-disciplinary, and is informed by the fields of science technology and society, political science and public policy.
